The 63rd Nations Cup finished on the title of Portugal and a beautiful day of competition. In the final for the 7th place, Montreux caught his first victory of the tournament in beating Macao 7 to 2. Switzerland then won, just before the end of the game, against France 3-2. The swiss team finishes fifth and goes on improving for the world championships of this summer in Spain. In the final for the third place, Argentina got the victory against Angola after extra time and got his place on the podium. At the end, in the big final awaited between Spain and Portugal, the tittle fell in the hands oft he Portuguese after their victory 3-1 on Spain
We are looking forward to see you again from Wednesday 20th to Monday 25th of April 2011 for the next edition of the Nations Cup.

Spain will fight against Portugal on Monday night for the awaited final of this competition. The Portuguese had no problem to get into the final in beating Angola 3-0. But for Spain, the work has been a lot harder. In an incredible game, Argentina came back after having been leaded by two goals at half time. But the world champions found the ressources to get the victory just a few seconds before the end.
The programm of Monday: Montreux waits Macao at 3.30 pm in the final for the 7th place. Switzerland and France will try to get the 5th place at 5 pm. At 7 pm, Argentina will fight against Macao for the third place. And the grand final will see Portugal try to beat Spain at 8.45 pm.

The qualification phase is finished. Argentina, Portugal and Spain are logically on time for the semi-finals. Little deception for Switzerland who won’t be part of the party. The defeat 3-2 versus Angola send the african players in the last square.
The programm for tomorrow: France versus Macao at 4.30 pm and Swizerland against Montreux at 6 pm for the 5/8th place games. Portugal versus Angola at 7.30 pm and Argentina against Spain at 9.30 pm fort he semi-finals.

After a first day where the hierarchy has been respected, the Saturday looks promising. At 1 pm, Macao and Angola will fight for their first victory of the tournament. Spain and France will be opposed at 2.30 pm. Portugal and Montreux will play the last game of the afternoon at 4 pm.
Switzerland will try to get his ticket fort the semi-final at 7 pm against Angola. At 8.30 pm, Argentina could validate his first place oft he group if they beat Macao. The evening will end in electricity and emotion at 10 pm with the awaited and exciting Spain-Portugal.
